This translation is provided for convenience. In case of differences, the German version prevails.
1. Provider and scope

2. Services
plan.bar is a web app for planning events together. It runs in the browser; no physical goods are delivered. We offer:
- Free: free of charge and usable indefinitely, with a limited scope and ads.
- Pro: paid subscription billed monthly or yearly, with an extended scope (including photos and videos, more events, participants and storage).
- Event Pass: one-time payment of €9.99. It unlocks photos and videos, 2 GB of storage and an ad-free event for 60 days (up to 100 participants, the same cap as Pro).
- Fest Pass: one-time payment of €24.99. The same scope as the Event Pass, for 12 months, including the gallery.
The exact scope and current prices are listed in our pricing overview. All prices include statutory VAT.
3. Account
Many features require an account. Your details must be accurate and you must keep your login details secret. You can delete your account yourself at any time in the account settings.
4. Purchases and payment via Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. The purchase contract for the Pro subscription, the Event Pass and the Fest Pass is concluded with Paddle.com Market Limited; Paddle handles payment, invoicing, taxes and customer service inquiries related to payment. Purchases are additionally subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms. Your use of plan.bar itself is governed by these terms.
5. Term, renewal and cancellation of the Pro subscription
The Pro subscription runs for one month or one year, as chosen, and renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it beforehand. The amount is billed through Paddle at the start of each period. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the paid period, in the account settings or by email to us. Pro stays active until then; afterwards the free plan applies again. The Event Pass and the Fest Pass do not renew. They end on the date stored at purchase: 60 days for the Event Pass and 12 months for the Fest Pass. Purchases at the earlier price of €3 keep the 30 days stored at that time. Afterwards the free scope applies to that event again. Content that is already there stays saved.
We announce price changes for running subscriptions by email at least 30 days in advance. You can cancel before they take effect.
6. Right of withdrawal and refunds
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. In addition, we refund purchases within 14 days without giving reasons. Details and how to request a refund are in our Refund Policy.
7. Acceptable use
When using plan.bar, it is in particular prohibited to:
- upload or share illegal content, or infringe the rights of others (e.g. copyright or personality rights),
- commit fraud, send spam or harassing messages,
- distribute malware, circumvent security measures, or disrupt or probe the system,
- read out data automatically (scraping) or place an excessive load on the service.
8. Your content
Content you add to plan.bar (texts, photos, videos, etc.) remains yours. You allow us to store it and show it to the participants of the respective event as far as necessary to run the service. You are responsible for your content. Illegal content can be reported via the point of contact in the legal notice.
9. Rights to plan.bar
The software, design and the plan.bar brand belong to the provider. You receive a simple, non-transferable right to use plan.bar within the scope of these terms.
10. Availability
We strive for trouble-free operation but cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability. Maintenance and technical faults may cause temporary restrictions. We keep developing plan.bar and may change features as long as the core of the paid service is preserved.
11. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are only liable for breaches of essential contractual obligations whose fulfilment makes use possible in the first place and on which you may rely, limited to the foreseeable, typical damage. Otherwise liability is excluded. Please keep an additional copy of important content, e.g. using the export function.
12. Suspension and termination by us
We may remove content and temporarily suspend or terminate accounts for good cause, in particular for serious or repeated violations of these terms, fraud, security risks or non-payment. We inform you of the reasons as far as legally permitted. We may discontinue the free service with 30 days' notice.
13. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms with effect for the future if there is a valid reason (e.g. new features or a change in the law). We notify registered users of changes by email at least 30 days in advance. If you do not object before they take effect, the new terms apply; we point out this consequence in the notice. If you object, you can delete your account or cancel your subscription.
14. Final provisions
German law applies. If you are a consumer, mandatory consumer protection laws of the country in which you have your habitual residence remain unaffected. Should any provision be invalid, the remaining provisions stay valid. We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
